Deeper dive therapy sessions

Deeper dive therapy sessions

If you’ve been deeply hurt by someone you trusted—a partner, parent, friend, or even a coworker—you may feel stuck in pain, unable to move forward. You may question yourself, struggle to trust others, and feel like your emotions are out of control. The smallest look, word, or situation can set you off, leaving you overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure of how to heal. Perhaps you’ve tried talking to friends and even worked with a therapist, but while talking has helped some, the relief you need still feels out of reach.
If this resonates with you, I’m so glad we found each other.
To experience deeper healing and build the life you want, it may be time for a different therapeutic approach—one that gets to the root of your pain and helps you heal in a fraction of the time. An EMDR/Constructed Awareness intensive is designed for people like you—those who are ready for deep, lasting transformation.
What are intensives?

Intensives are longer therapy sessions that happen in quick, back-to-back succession. Whereas standard therapy treatment may entail meeting for one hour weekly or bi-weekly, an intensive will provide three, six, or nine hours of therapy within one to three days. This concentrated time allows us to go deeper and get to the root of the issue without interruptions and delays between appointments. Through hyper-focused, longer sessions, clients who participate in intensives are able to achieve their healing goals quicker.
Intensive therapy sessions are an effective way to get to the heart of the matter as quickly and efficiently as possible, and intensives often accomplish the work of weeks or even months of therapy in one to three days.
- You prefer to participate in therapy without time and insurance restraints.
- You are eager to fast-track your time in therapy.
- You want to experience greater healing and deeper relief more quickly.

How do intensives work?

Phase 1: Pre-intensive preparation
- We’ll start with a consultation call to discuss your goals and make sure an intensive is the right fit.
- You’ll receive a customized workbook to help you reflect and prepare before our first session.
- We’ll have a 2 hours pre-intensive session to review your workbook and create a personalized plan for how we’ll manage our time during your intensive session(s).
Phase 2: The Intensive Session(s)
- This is where we do the deep healing work. Intensives can be scheduled in different formats:
- 3-hour (Half-Day) Intensive
- 6-hour (Full-Day) Intensive
- 9-hour Intensive (3 Days, 3 Hours Per Day)
Phase 3: Post-intensive integration
- You’ll receive a follow-up workbook to process what comes up after the intensive.
- We’ll have a 90-minute post-intensive session to reflect on your progress and create a plan for continued healing.
Transforming pain into purpose

We feel better and life flows more smoothly when we feel safe and connected to those closest to us. But when there is a break in those close, personal connections – when betrayal, abuse, or abandonment occur – life can feel fractured. In such situations, it’s easy to spiral in anger or emotionally shut down. Sometimes, we may even blame ourselves for what happened, especially if the person who hurt us said or did things that caused us to question what we knew to be true about ourselves. They may have even blamed us for what they did.
When painful experiences are pervasive, we may begin to believe that there is something wrong with us. We struggle to trust our judgement and our decisions. We second guess every glance, every text, and every gesture. Experiencing deep hurt time and time again can make trusting other people feel impossible.
By healing from the past and learning how to trust your own judgement and abilities, you can achieve the emotional stability necessary for restoring hope and transforming your pain into purpose.

Benefits of intensive therapy sessions

Intensives give us the flexibility of time that we simply don’t have in standard, hour-long sessions. - Peace in their judgement and decisions

- Greater levels of patience
- Less intense or neutralized emotional triggers
- Greater fulfillment in relationships
