A Deeper Rhythm of Healing: Moving Beyond the 50-Minute Hour
Traditional therapy often stops right as the real work begins. At Upstate Restorative Counseling, we have moved away from the standard weekly “check-in” model to prioritize Deep Work Sessions. By providing more time in each encounter, we ensure your nervous system has the space to process, resolve, and integrate.
- Extended Deep-Work Sessions (90-120 Minutes): Typically scheduled bi-weekly, these longer sessions allow us to dive deep into somatic reprocessing without the pressure of the clock. Ideal for consistent, high-impact growth.
- Accelerated EMDR Intensives: Our most concentrated model of care. These multi-day blocks deliver months of therapeutic progress in a single week by eliminating all interruptions to the healing process.
Simple Steps to Start Your Healing Journey
We know reaching out is the hardest part. We’ve made the process simple and transparent:
- Schedule An Appointment: Book an appointment to discuss your goals and answer any questions.
- Choose Your Depth: Together, we’ll decide if bi-weekly 90-minute sessions or a multi-day Intensive is the best fit for your goals.
- Begin the Work: We start the process of somatic healing and EMDR to help you move from survival mode into authentic joy.
